i used this work to explore themes of obsolescence through the lens of old and damaged technology such as walkmen, radios and mp3 players. the sculptural element of the work presents these objects as artefacts or monuments.

by capturing the original objects i used for my casts, i created an archive of each object in its original form. the presenting of these pieces of technology in their original form converses with the sculptural aspect of the work depicting them as artefacts.
